SDE885-H25 - Network Softwarisation : Technologies and Enablers

The objective of the NetSoft CREATE training program is to meet this critical need in the Canadian telecom industry. Our goal of this course is to prepare graduates with a fundamental understanding and practical experience in software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) along with the communication and teamwork skills that allow them to integrate smoothly and contribute immediately to the success of Canadian companies.

This course focuses on hands on experience with softwarization technologies and enablers. At the end of this course, students will be capable of mastering the programming of SDN networks, the management and configuration of cloud computing, service orchestration, data collection of connected objects, resource profiling, measurement of energy consumption, classification of data by machine learning, optical and radio network modeling.
