Marc Bourgie Foundation

The Fondation Marc Bourgie offers financial support to enable students in an unstable financial situation to undertake their planned academic studies (at any post-secondary level).

Amount and duration

  • Bachelor's degree or certificate: up to $3,000;
  • Master’s: up to $5,000;
  • Doctorate: up to $10,000.

It is possible to renew the award up to 2 times.

Eligibility criteria

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada;
  • Be aged 18 to 29 years inclusive at the application deadline;
  • Be domiciled in Quebec;
  • Be enrolled full-time in a program of studies.

Selection criteria

  • An internal ÉTS selection process will determine which candidates are recommended (all levels included) to the foundation’s selection committee.
