Protection of personal information
ÉTS protects the personal information entrusted to it, in accordance with the Act respecting Access to documents held by public bodies and the Protection of personal information (CQLR, c. A-2.1). Through its websites, ÉTS collects only the information needed to fulfill its mission, and uses it only for the purposes and period for which it was collected.

Cookies and analytics tools
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser when you visit a website. Some cookies may collect personal information.
ÉTS uses cookies and web analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, either directly or through authorized third parties. These tools are used to:
- keep the websites working properly;
- understand how people use them;
- show relevant content;
- improve the browsing experience.
There are four types of cookies:
- Strictly necessary: required for the site to work, so they cannot be turned off.
- Functionality: remember certain preferences, such as language.
- Performance: provide traffic statistics, such as traffic sources, pages viewed and searches.
- Advertising: placed by partners to show ÉTS ads on other websites.
Information that may be collected
- IP address and approximate region
- Client identifier
- Internet service provider
- Operating system, device type and model, screen resolution
- Browser type, language and version
- Source of the visit (banner, email, social media, etc.)
- Pages viewed and interactions (clicks, scrolling), with the date, time, length and frequency of visits
Only authorized ÉTS staff can access this information, and only when their duties require it. Technical and physical security measures keep it protected.
Managing your choices
On your first visit, you choose which types of cookies you accept. You can change these choices at any time with the Manage consent link at the bottom of every page, or in your browser settings. Turning off some cookies may limit certain features.

ÉTS websites may contain links to external sites. ÉTS is not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
