How to give

We encourage you to speak with a financial advisor to determine the best way to support ÉTS while meeting your personal and financial objectives. You can also contact us to learn more about ÉTS’s various projects, allowing you to choose the ones you wish to support.

Gift of life insurance

A gift of life insurance allows you to make a substantial contribution by paying only a fraction of the final gift amount. The process is simple and flexible, offering tax benefits and confidential estate planning.

If you wish to make a gift of life insurance to ÉTS, you can:

  • designate ÉTS as a beneficiary (while retaining ownership of the policy);
  • take out a new policy;
  • donate an existing policy.

Bequest

A bequest is a simple way to give and represents much more than a material legacy. Through it, you pass on your values and demonstrate your attachment to ÉTS, as well as your desire to make a difference. This gesture allows you to leave your mark while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the university through stable and lasting support.

Bequests also offer significant financial benefits. By designating ÉTS as a beneficiary, you can reduce taxes on your estate; thus, a larger portion of your assets will go where they are needed most, including to your loved ones.

Beyond the generosity it reflects, a bequest is a lasting testament to your commitment to ÉTS and tomorrow’s engineers.
