Entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is a driving force at ÉTS and extends far beyond business creation. It is also one of the four pillars of our 2025-2030 strategic plan. It embodies a mindset and a culture that permeate our programs, student clubs, research initiatives, and industry collaborations. It shapes leaders, stimulates innovation, and accelerates social and economic transformation. By integrating this entrepreneurial culture into all our activities, we empower our community to experiment, create, and take bold action.

At ÉTS, entrepreneurship includes:

  • intrapreneurship;
  • business acquisition and succession;
  • the creation of impact-driven businesses;
  • technological innovation.

Our goal is to promote the development of widely-sought entrepreneurial skills: creativity, initiative, collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to turn ideas into action.

The Entrepreneurship Office: Where Innovation Takes Shape

The mission of the Entrepreneurship Office is to make entrepreneurship a key driver of the ÉTS experience. It supports community members regardless of how far along they are, from the initial exploration of ideas through to active support for student entrepreneurs.

We believe that technological and scientific entrepreneurship can take many forms and that it is fuelled by collaboration, experimentation, and the sharing of expertise.

ÉTS Entrepreneurial Office promotes innovation and supports aspiring entrepreneurs at a leading technology university.

A Gateway

The ÉTS entrepreneurial ecosystem offers support at every stage of a project: from ideation to validation, then to commercialization and growth. By bringing together complementary expertise, infrastructure, and partners, it enables aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their ambitions into reality.

The Entrepreneurship Office is the gateway to this ecosystem and facilitates access to the School’s resources and expertise.

Personalized Support

The role of the Entrepreneurship Office is to help community members organize and refine their ideas, develop their entrepreneurial skills, and find the resources best suited to their path.

  • the granting of student-entrepreneur status;
  • student success support through Student Life Services;
