On campus September 21 and 30

COVID-19 vaccination clinic

Thursday, September 16, 2021

On Tuesday, September 21 and Thursday, September 30, ÉTS will be holding a COVID-19 vaccination clinic on its campus. The clinic will be open to the entire ÉTS community, along with citizens from outside of ÉTS. No appointment will be required for the clinic, which will be located in the Hall of Pavilion B.

When the pandemic first struck last year, many at ÉTS were eager to become involved in helping out. Members of the ÉTS staff and faculty, along with students, jumped in feet first to start making visors and personal protective equipment for those in the health care sector. As we return to campus in the fall of 2021, a year and a half after the beginning of this global health crisis, ÉTS remains committed to playing an active role in combatting the pandemic

This initiative of the Prevention and Security Office (PSO) is also in response to a call from the Ministère de l’Enseignement supérieur and the Centres universitaires de santé et de services sociaux (CIUSSS), which have urged institutions of higher learning to promote vaccination.

At ÉTS, the PSO is working with the Facility Assets Management Service and the Events Bureau, in conjunction with the CIUSS du Centre-Sud-de-l’Île-de-Montréal. The latter is responsible for supplying the vaccine based on the needs of the clinic. Pfizer and Moderna vaccines will be offered on both days when the clinic is in operation.
