  • Scolarship Program to Support the Next Generation 
    The Program aims to encourage the best candidates, from college to doctoral level, to undertake or pursue research or research-creation activities in the field of the societal impacts of AI and digital technology, responsible innovation. Scholarships from $5,000 to $25,000 depending on the program level.
    Deadline for submitting an application: April 1, 2026
     

  • Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) - NSERC
    Scholarships for students who wish to undertake a research work term during the Summer 2025 session (recognized as a mandatory work term within the context of the study program). There will be two other selections for Fall and Winter.
    Deadline for the internal selection: March 11, 2026
  • Bourse pour la relève étudiante en génie municipal (AIMQ & Genium360) (in French)
    A $3,000 scholarship aimed at supporting the next generation of municipal engineers.
    Deadline for submitting an application: March 30, 2026
  • Renewable (2 years) financial support offered by a private fund
    Six (6) renewable scholarships available each semester for a period of two years, offered to full-time students (Canadian citizens / permanent residents) who have completed their first semester of a bachelor's degree in Engineering in Fall 2025 and cumulated a minimum of 12 credits, who have shown potential for success in their first year of studies in Engineering. This scholarship is intended for those whose financial challenges in the coming years may jeopardize the continuation of their studies and their graduation.

  • Kappa Gamma Foundation of Canada Student Scholarships
    The objective of this program is to promote higher education among Canadian women who are actively pursuing PhD studies.
    Deadline for submitting an application to the organization: April 5, 2026
  • Programme de bourses de mobilité Québec-France Sophie-Germain  (in French)
    This program aims to facilitate the mobility of early-career doctoral and postdoctoral researchers from Quebec who wish to pursue research in France. A grant of $3,000 will be awarded for a stay of at least one month.

  • Mitacs Accelerate – Standard program
    This program offers paid internships at a partner business that agrees to contribute to the financing and to host the student at its premises to work on activities related to a joint research project. This program offers considerable flexibility in terms of eligibility, duration of work terms and allocation of time for research at the business.
    There is no set deadline for submitting applications. Applications must be submitted at least 8 weeks before the scheduled start of the internship. Several financing models are available.
  • Business Strategy Internship
    This program offers paid innovative internships at a partner business that agrees to contribute to the financing and to host the student at its premises to work on activities related to a joint research project to carry out the innovation activities of the organization, in order to help improve its products, processes or services. This program offers considerable flexibility in terms of eligibility, duration of work terms and allocation of time for research at the business.
    There is no set deadline for submitting applications. Applications must be submitted at least 5 weeks before the scheduled start of the internship. Several financing models are available.
  • Mitacs Globalink Research Award
    A $6,000 fellowship for senior undergraduates and graduate students to conduct 12-24 week research projects at universities abroad. 
    There is no set deadline for submitting applications. The number of available scholarships is limited. Applications must be submitted at least 16 weeks before the start of the project.
