Important news: A larger number of scholarships will be awarded
$50,000 scholarship awarded annually by the management of Polytechnique Montréal to a Canadian female engineering student who wishes to continue her studies in engineering at the graduate level (Master’s or PhD), at the establishment of her choice, in Canada or abroad.
For more detailed information, consult the rules and criteria for the program. The deadline for submitting an application is May 16, 2025
- 2 year renewable scholarships awarded by a private fund
Six scholarships renewable each semester for a period of 2 years offered to full-time Canadian students or permanent residents who have completed their first semester of a Bachelor of Engineering degree in the fall of 2024 and have accumulated at least 12 credits, and who have demonstrated their potential for success during their first year of studies at the Bachelor of Engineering degree level, and whose financial difficulties in future years may jeopardize their studies and graduation. Application deadline: May 31, 2025 - Claudette-MacKay-Lassonde scholarship
The Claudette-MacKay-Lassonde scholarship is a $25,000 annual Canada-wide scholarship to support women studying engineering in Canada in their second or third year of undergraduate studies.
Application deadline: May 11, 2025 - Undergraduate Student Research Awards NSERC (USRA)
Scholarships for students who wish to undertake a research work term (STAXXX) during the Fall 2025 trimester. Another selection will take place in fall for the Winter 2026 trimester.

- J.H. Stewart Reid Memorial Fellowship Trust
Minimum scholarship of $5,000 awarded to a student registered in a doctoral program.

Mobility scholarship designed to encourage students to study in France.
Deadline for submitting an application to the organization: May 8, 2025 - Bourse d'excellence Martin Daubois (in French)
$3,000 scholarship offered by La Société Belge de Bienfaisance to a Belgian student or of Belgian origin.

- Mitacs Accelerate – Standard program
This program offers paid internships at a partner business that agrees to contribute to the financing and to host the student at its premises to work on activities related to a joint research project. This program offers considerable flexibility in terms of eligibility, duration of work terms and allocation of time for research at the business.
There is no set deadline for submitting applications. Applications must be submitted at least 8 weeks before the scheduled start of the internship. Several financing models are available.
- Business Strategy Internship
This program offers paid innovative internships at a partner business that agrees to contribute to the financing and to host the student at its premises to work on activities related to a joint research project to carry out the innovation activities of the organization, in order to help improve its products, processes or services. This program offers considerable flexibility in terms of eligibility, duration of work terms and allocation of time for research at the business. There is no set deadline for submitting applications. Applications must be submitted at least 5 weeks before the scheduled start of the internship. Several financing models are available.
- Mitacs Globalink Research Award
$6,000 fellowship for senior undergraduates and graduate students to conduct 12-24 week research projects at universities abroad. There is no set deadline for submitting applications. The number of available scholarships are limited. Applications must be submitted at least 16 weeks before the start of the project.
