A National and Global Perspective of Industry 4.0 Technology and Training

The Innovation 4.0 Network, of which ÉTS is a member, is organizing the First International Innovation 4.0 Forum, to be held on November 6, 2019 at the Palais des congrès in Montréal.

It will cover the global landscape of technologies linked to Industry 4.0, along with training initiatives undertaken at large and small companies, academic institutions and a variety of research consortia and clusters.

The Forum will address the various technologies associated with Industry 4.0 and the manner in which they are deployed in numerous sectors of activity (e.g.: manufacturing, transportation and logistics, aerospace, energy, health, construction, forestry, etc.). The event will feature close to thirty speakers, including fourteen from the industrial world, eight from academia and five from associations and clusters.

About the Innovation 4.0 Network

The Innovation 4.0 Network was created to meet the needs of industry in terms of training, research and technological development. It currently includes 70 industrial partners and 300 professors associated with 8 Québec universities. The objective of the Network is to promote collaborative research and the sharing of knowledge, resources and infrastructure assets related to Industry 4.0.

The creation of the Network is evidence that the academic sector is fully immersed in the 4th Industrial Revolution, and that it is committed to helping companies navigate this massive and essential transformation.
