ATE850E - Basic Health and Safety Rules

Note: This course is also given in the 3^rd cycle

The ATE850 workshop must be passed before the course registration period for the second session. At the end of the workshop, the student will be able:

to identify the actions to take in case of an emergency, accident or near-miss and when recognizing the presence of a dangerous situation;
to recognize the categories of risks that can be present in ÉTS laboratories;
to identify the services offered by the Health and Safety prevention team at ÉTS;
to determine where to find additional information regarding the orientations applicable to health and safety in ÉTS laboratories;
to identify the personal protection equipment required to access laboratories and recognize the posters indicating health and safety rules in these laboratories.

Regulatory framework applicable to health and safety; ÉTS health and safety policy; measures to be taken in the event of an emergency, incident or dangerous situation; health and safety-related roles and responsibilities; organization of health and safety prevention at ÉTS; process for assessing and reducing health and safety risks; health and safety rules posted in ÉTS laboratories, content and location of ÉTS Laboratory Health and Safety Manual..

Evaluated with the mention Pass (S) or Fail (E).
