The healthcare system in Quebec is currently undergoing significant changes. Regional public health services need to develop a deeper and more nuanced understanding of the diverse populations they serve and the communities in which they operate. To support this effort, ÉTSDesign is collaborating with the CISSS de l’Outaouais (CISSSO) to identify opportunities for transforming healthcare services.

Throughout the project, the student will conduct research on the delivery and organization of primary care services, working closely with healthcare professionals, and will identify patients’ needs through co-design activities with local communities.

During the design phase, a decision-support tool will be developed and prototyped to help decision-makers transform healthcare delivery, building on a deeper, human-centred understanding of the communities and territories that rely on public healthcare services.

This is an interdisciplinary project conducted in collaboration with another master’s student specializing in data analysis and/or geomatics.
