École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) has continued its partnership with Administration du Port de Montréal (APM), Hatch, and, more recently, QSL as part of the Défi Port Intelligent (DPI). This challenge allows students from the Operations and Logistics Engineering program to apply their knowledge to a real-world problem by proposing solutions to improve transportation flow at the Bickerdike terminal. This initiative provides a unique opportunity to develop engineering skills in a professional setting.
A Renewed Strategic Commitment
Since the challenge was launched, Administration du Port de Montréal and Hatch have supported the project by offering students a hands-on and educational experience. The addition of QSL in 2024 has further enriched this collaboration, allowing students to tackle exciting challenges while preparing for their future careers. ÉTS extends its gratitude to these partners for their ongoing support and commitment to the training of the engineers of tomorrow.

Congratulations to the Winning Teams!
At the March 13 ceremony, two winning teams were awarded scholarships totaling $5,000, offered by APM and Hatch. The students stood out for the quality of their recommendations, their creativity, and their ability to integrate environmental and social considerations into their solutions.
