Québec Perspective Scholarship
Incentive scholarship program aimed at increasing the number of skilled workers in priority sectors identified by the Québec Government. Since engineering is one of these sectors, ÉTS students will be eligible for these generous scholarships.
Amount and duration
Beginning with the Fall 2022 session, scholarships will be available to all students enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program, as indicated on the Québec Perspective Scholarship Program page in the amount of $2,500 per successful full-time session (12 credits), up to a maximum of $20,000 for a four-year program.
Eligibility criteria
The Québec government grants scholarships to Québec students after they have successfully completed a full-time or deemed full-time session in a targeted study program.
Bachelor of Engineering degrees offered at ÉTS:
- Bachelor of Construction Engineering
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
- Bachelor of Distributed Computing
- Bachelor of Software Engineering
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Bachelor of Operations and Logistics Engineering
- Bachelor of Automated Manufacturing Engineering
- Bachelor of Information Technology Engineering
Additional requirements for eligible students as of Summer 2025
From the Summer 2025 term until the Winter 2029 term, you must meet all of the eligibility requirements and satisfy at least one of the following two criteria:
- be enrolled full-time or deemed enrolled full-time in the Winter 2025 term, after the date for withdrawal without a refund, in an eligible program and be pursuing your studies in the same program
- be enrolled full-time or deemed enrolled full-time in an eligible program and have benefited, for the same program, at least once during the 2023-2024 or 2024-2025 academic year, from a scholarship under the Québec Perspective Scholarship program or the Excellence Scholarships for Students in Education program.
To maintain your eligibility for the program starting in 2025-2026, you must benefit at least once a year from the Québec Perspective Scholarship program or the Excellence Scholarships for Students in Education program.
You will not be eligible if you meet none of the aforementioned requirements or you became ineligible during the period.
Exceptions
- Some activities cannot be used in calculating the credits required for eligibility under the scholarship program:
- Remedial courses or prerequisites for a program of study
- Courses that compensate for a college course and lengthen the duration of the program
- Cooperative practicums
- Courses for which the credits have already been earned
- Recognition of acquired competencies or course equivalency
- Courses for which the credits are not required for acquisition of the degree

Applications that are submitted after the deadline will be automatically rejected by the Ministère.
