Request for rental
Rooms and apartments are assigned based on availability.
You can submit a request for rental form with no obligation. Your commitment will only be confirmed if a room or unit is assigned to you and you pay a deposit.
Who can rent a unit at ÉTS residences?
Any person who is registered at ÉTS can rent a room at the residences. Priority is always given to students who are registered for full-time studies. If there are no rooms available when you submit your request, your name can be placed on a waiting list.
When to submit a request
Reservation requests can be submitted at any time. Considering the high demand, we strongly recommend that you submit your request as soon as possible, even if you have not yet been admitted to ÉTS. If you change your mind, simply send us an e-mail to let us know.
Selecting your preferences
You can select the type of unit, along with your preferred roommates, on the request for rental form. However, we respond to requests based on availability.
Room swapping between tenants are not permitted. If you wish to change your room, you must submit the request to the Secretariat for your residence. Changes are approved based on certain conditions and at the discretion of the Facility Assets Management Service.
Co-op work term outside of Montréal or session abroad
In the case of a co-op work term outside of Montréal or a session abroad, you can cancel your lease and be guaranteed a place in the residences when you return.
When to pay the deposit
You must pay the required deposit once you have made a reservation and received confirmation.
