What you can support
One donation, a thousand possibilities
École de technologie supérieure focuses on four priority areas of support: the student community, entrepreneurship, research, and the development of a world-class urban campus.
Your support is essential to the development of our ecosystem.
Support for students
The student community is central to ÉTS’s mission. By supporting its activities, you help maintain the profession’s high standards.
You can support students at any time with a scholarship, whether on behalf of a company or as an individual. Scholarships promote excellence and help students stay in school.
You can also directly encourage deserving individuals by offering a scholarship on behalf of your company. For more information on this option, contact Myriam Kabbaj at myriam.kabbaj@etsmtl.ca or call 514-396-8445.
Your donations ensure student engagement and vitality.
Each year, hundreds of student members of scientific clubs take part in national and international engineering competitions, contributing to ÉTS’s reputation through their exceptional performances.
ÉTS student groups have a social, cultural, or community mission.
Did you know that ÉTS has a permanent assistance fund? Since its inception, hundreds of students and their families have benefited from emergency financial assistance or a Christmas food basket.
In fact, 69% of requests come from students with family responsibilities. This fund helps them in their time of need.
Women are still underrepresented in engineering today. For ÉTS, the solution lies in action, which is why a number of initiatives, including the Palmarès Féminin pluriel, G-CHANGE, and Femmes de génie programs, among others, have been set up to change the situation.
Let’s help attract more women to engineering—because the world needs more female engineers.
The Food Bank is an emergency food service for the ÉTS student community.
For a fee of $5, we provide food baskets of basic groceries worth up to $100. Baskets are generally made up of non-perishable foods, dry foods, and snacks.
Recognized across the province, ÉTS student-athletes proudly represent our institution through their athletic performance and commitment.
Whether they compete as part of the ÉTS Piranhas (in French) teams or take part in student sports clubs (in French), they stand out for their passion, determination, and team spirit. Their talent is a source of pride and contributes to the vibrant athletic life of the ÉTS community.
Encouraging research and innovation
Want to support a specific research project, chair, or field of engineering? Dedicate your donation to research and innovation. These donations enable us to :
- Develop pragmatic solutions to industrial problems
- Support the funding of research chairs
- Purchase equipment
- Build new facilities
- Attract new faculty members
Would you like to encourage cutting-edge research by creating an industrial or philanthropic research chair? Get inspired by learning more about ÉTS’s research chairs.

Driving entrepreneurship
At ÉTS, many students benefit from our efforts to encourage entrepreneurship. Centech, a world-class business incubator, and a curriculum focused on business creation provide an ideal environment for developing the entrepreneurial spirit of the student community.
Supporting technological innovation and entrepreneurship means supporting economic development by creating jobs in promising technology sectors. In fact, Centech already boasts several successful engineering companies that are now independent and generating high-quality jobs.

Fostering the development of ÉTS
To carry out its mission, ÉTS must have the infrastructure it needs. By supporting the development of ÉTS, you are contributing to a living environment conducive to teaching, research, and innovation through facilities that will establish the campus of tomorrow and facilitate the advancement of education.
ÉTS priorities
The ÉTS campus is located in Griffintown, in the heart of Montréal, North America’s leading French-language university city. Its expanding urban campus blends seamlessly into its neighbourhood. ÉTS’s urban plan includes the construction of a future complex on the site of the former Dow Brewery, the development of parks and green spaces, and the construction of new student residences.
Sustainable development
The principles of sustainable development are central to the development strategies of our urban campus. How could it be otherwise, when ÉTS has signed the declaration of climate emergency and is committed to carbon neutrality? Supporting sustainable development at ÉTS is sustainable!
