A practical workshop to discover the main functionalities (e.g. visualization, saved search, analyze results) of one of the most popular multidisciplinary bibliographical and abstract databases worldwide.
Use Web of Science to :
- Find documents on a specific search topic;
- Retrieve high impact articles in a subject area, and identify fundamental works;
- Identify potential journals to submit your manuscript to;
- Dress a list of experts in your field of study, find a potential supervisor for your master or PhD project.
If time permits, we will do a quick overview of Journal Citations Reports (JCR), Clarivate's tool to evaluate journal's impact and influence.
