Decision-Making Bodies

The various decision-making bodies are the Board of Directors (BOD), the Academic Council (AC), the Governance Committee (GC), the Audit Committee (AC) and the Executive Committee (XC). These bodies are joint bodies that include internal members from management, faculty, the student community, as well as external members from socio-economic groups, CEGEPs and universities, and the alumni association.

The primary role of the Board of Directors is to see to the good governance of ÉTS and to ensure its mission and values are upheld. Thus, the Board participates actively in the definition of the institution’s strategic orientations, adopts its policies and regulations, and supervises and supports the university’s executive management in the performance of their tasks.
