• de distinguer son discours et ses idées personnelles de celles d’autrui;
• d’introduire correctement dans ses textes le discours, les idées, les graphiques ou autres éléments tirés d’autres ouvrages ou sites et d’en identifier la source.

Plagiat et sanctions. Responsabilités morale et légale. Types de citations. Règles applicables. Identification des sources.

Atelier obligatoire pour les étudiants et étudiantes des programmes de 2^e et 3^e cycle. Évalué avec la mention Succès ou Échec.

Intellectual Integrity: Underlying concepts and techniques

The ATE800 workshop must be passed in the first semester.

At the end of the workshop, the student will be able:

• to distinguish his/her own words and ideas from those of others;
• to correctly introduce in his/her texts the words, ideas, graphics or other elements taken from other publications or sites and to quote the source.

Mandatory workshop for students of graduate and PhD programs. Evaluated with the mention Pass or Fail.
