The Chairholder
A Professor-Researcher in the Environmental Engineering Department and Construction Engineering Department at ÉTS since 2017, Annie Levasseur focuses her research activities on environmental life cycle assessment methodologies and the development of advanced modelling tools for quantifying the impact of human activities on climate change.
Professor Levasseur frequently collaborates with researchers working in various sectors (forest, energy, transportation, buildings, chemistry, surface engineering, roads, social marketing, design UX, etc.), government agencies, industrial partners and non-for-profit organizations.
Among the international scientific community devoted to life-cycle assessment (LCA), Professor Levasseur is recognized as an expert in assessing the impact of climate change, and she is involved with a number of committees whose mandates are in line with the mission of the Chair, such as the Comité consultatif sur les changements climatiques of the Ministère de l'Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs du Québec.
