The Chairholder
A Professor-Researcher in the Construction Engineering Department at ÉTS since 2017, Annie Levasseur focuses her research activities on environmental life cycle assessment methodologies and the development of advanced modelling tools for quantifying the impact of human activities on climate change.
Professor Levasseur frequently collaborates with researchers working in the forestry and energy sectors, government agencies and industrial partners like Kruger, Énergir and Hydro-Québec.
Among the international scientific community devoted to life-cycle assessment (LCA), Professor Levasseur is recognized as an expert in assessing the impact of climate change, and she is involved with a number of committees whose mandates are in line with the mission of the Chair.
