About us
The LIDD was conceived, created and co-directed by the late Professor Natalia Nuño and Senior Lecturer Philippe Terrier, receiving its status as a recognized research unit at ÉTS in September 2013.

Equipment and software
The LIDD has access to a variety of testing, simulation and fabrication tools:
- Wind tunnel for aerodynamic testing (e.g.: small wind turbine)
- Laser cutter, printer and milling machine
- Life cycle assessment software (SimaPro and openLCA)
- Modelling software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, MATLAB, etc.)
