RESEARCH

My research interests cover text mining and data mining, information extraction, knowledge representation, machine learning and natural language processing.

I am director of the laboratory LiNCS since 2002, where you can find details about our specific projects.

The laboratory's main lines of research focus on the analysis and semantic interpretation of changes in the physical and cognitive conditions of people suffering from a disease or condition affecting their ability to communicate. These axes are deployed in two contexts, a) the medical and clinical context; b) the therapeutic context.
