I have received the B.Sc. and the M.Sc. degrees in communication engineering from Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt, in 2001 and 2004, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in communications engineering from University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, in 2011. My Ph.D. supervisor was Prof. Sergiy Vorobyov.
In 2012, I joined King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), KSA, as a postdoctoral research fellow where I worked with Prof. Mohamed-Slim Alouini and Prof. Tareq Al-Naffouri.
Currently, I am post-doctoral fellow at L'École de technologie supérieure (ETS) de Montréal, Canada, where I started on February 2014. I work with Prof. Georges Kaddoum.
My research interests are in statistical and array signal processing, robust adaptive beamforming, estimation and detection theory, cooperative and cognitive systems, and data analysis.
