Parcours académique

I received my B.Eng. and M.Sc. in Communication Engineering from Hainan University and Xiamen University, China, in the year of 2010 and 2013, respectively. After my graduation, I worked as a research assistant in the Electrical and Information Engineering department of Hong Kong Polytechnic University from August, 2013 to November, 2014. During my research periods, my research interests vary from UWB, chaos communication and physical layer network coding to channel coding. Currently, one more research direction, physical layer security is also in my reach.

Titre du projet de recherche actuel

Physical layer security in wireless networks

Sommaire du projet de recherche

Physical layer security is an emerging research area that focuses on exploring the security solution for different wireless communication networks while using the property of physical layer, such as, thermal noise, interference, and the time-varying nature of fading channels. The goal of this research topic is mainly to propose reasonable transmission scheme from the perspective of information theory and signal processing. For this purpose, different communication techniques, for instance, channel coding, MIMO, cooperation communication and cognitive radio are considered.
