SYS863D - Sujets spéciaux I en G.P.A. : Machine Learning Techniques for the Analysis of Biomedical Signals

This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to apply artificial intelligence techniques to solve healthcare problems. The emphasis will be on the use of machine learning techniques for analyzing physiological signals to detect and diagnose diseases, predict health-related events, and estimate and characterize health parameters.

To achieve this objective, the course will cover the proper techniques for processing biomedical signals, which are essential for the application of machine learning. In addition, the course will cover the correct design and validation of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary to build effective models for healthcare applications.
