Student Experience

University studies aren’t just about studying in the classroom and doing your homework. It’s also an opportunity to experience new things, explore your passions and interests, meet new people, and shape your future. Getting involved in student life can change your whole student experience.

Student clubs and groups

At ÉTS, we build concrete canoes (yes, they float!) and solar vehicles, we help create new and more sustainable lifestyles, we support increased representation of women in technology, and more! You will have plenty of opportunities to put your talents to good use. Like more than 1,500 students, you’ll find your place in one of the many ÉTS student clubs and groups.

University sports

Do you like to play sports in your free time, or are you an athlete? ÉTS is a great place for university sports. Whether it’s competing on the Piranhas teams—which represent ÉTS in eight sports at the provincial and national levels—participating in sports clubs, recreational leagues, or just going to the sports centre, you’ll find something that suits you.
