Psychological Assistance

If an adverse event or problem is having an impact on your education or your life in general, ÉTS provides you with the tools and resources to help you to cope! You can talk it over with someone with the peace of mind of knowing everything you share is confidential.

Training and workshops are also offered, mainly in French, to the student community on a regular basis. Attend our workshops on such essential topics as performance anxiety, procrastination, relationships and sexuality, balancing life and studies, and much more!

Check the calendar of events and the weekly Interface to make sure you don't miss a thing.

Individual counselling

No matter what you’re going through, whether it’s school challenges or difficult personal experiences, you can write to us to request psychological support.

A form will then be sent to you for an initial assessment meeting with a front-line counsellor within 5 working days. This meeting will serve to take stock of your difficulties and clarify your situation. At the end of the session, the counsellor will discuss the best options with you and refer you to the most appropriate service for your needs.

If your need is to explore a situation in greater depth, or to explore tools to promote well-being, we'll refer you to the psychological support service, where you can have 7 free, confidential sessions.

To contact us or make an appointment for psychological support

You can visit the Office of Student Life (OSL), room E-3040.
