ÉTS Financial support for supervised quarantine program
International students, start preparing now for your arrival on campus!Monday, March 22, 2021
École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) has announced its Procedures for the Summer 2021 session and its intention to gradually return to on-campus activities for the Summer session, leading to a Fall session held primarily in person.
In light of this, international students should plan to return to campus within the coming months. Taking into account the measures and directives implemented by the government for those arriving in Canada, ÉTS would like to help international students during their supervised quarantine and their integration into campus life. Toward this end, ÉTS has introduced a new support program for international students.
New financial support program
The ÉTS Financial support for supervised quarantine program is intended for international students who are arriving in Montréal to continue or begin their studies during the Summer 2021 session. They are conditionally eligible for reimbursement of the cost of quarantine in an authorized hotel, up to a total of $1,000 (CAN), in the form of a credit on their student account at ÉTS.
Students who choose to complete their mandatory quarantine at ÉTS residences (subject to available space) may receive assistance in the form of a credit on their student account equivalent to the quarantine fees of $500 (CAN) once their quarantine is completed.
Eligibility conditions for the program
Detailed information concerning eligibility conditions is available online, on the ÉTS website.
Procedure for submitting an application for support
A form will be made available via the MonÉTS portal beginning in April. Applications can be submitted up to the end of the Summer 2021 session. Students are encouraged to send thier questions related to quarantine or eligibility for the support program to firstname.lastname@example.org.
