Supervised quarantine at ÉTS residences
As of July 18, 2021, international students coming from outside of Canada are no longer permitted to complete their supervised quarantine in residence. However, it is possible to plan to complete your quarantine in residence if you have reserved a studio or 3 ½ apartment. Students are not permitted to complete their quarantine in a shared apartment (2, 3 or 4 rooms).
Reservations for the Fall 2021 session are now closed, and all rooms in the residences are full.
In order to gain access to your shared apartment (2, 3 or 4 rooms), you must have the following documents with you* as proof of exemption from quarantine:
- Negative result of a COVID-19 test administered within 72 hours before your departure for Canada;
- Proof of full vaccination completed at least 14 days before departure;
- Negative result of a COVID-19 test administered upon arrival in Canada;
- Proof of housing insurance as of your arrival date.
To obtain the keys to your apartment, you must present these documents at the ÉTS administrative offices during business hours – Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
*If you are moving into a studio or 3 ½ apartment, you only have to provide proof of housing insurance in order to obtain your keys.
Residents of shared apartments who have not received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine at least 14 days in advance must prepare a quarantine plan to be completed outside of the ÉTS residences for 14 days following their arrival in Québec. An airline ticket will be required as proof.
