Scholarships for Canadian Francophonie (FRQNT)

Scholarships intended for students who live in a Canadian province other than Québec and who wish to enter or continue a Master’s or Doctoral program.

The competition is open to students who would like to obtain funding beginning with the summer 2020, fall 2020 or winter 2021 semester.

Amount and duration

  • Master’s (research profile) $17,500 / year (max. 2 years)
  • Doctorate (research profile) $21,000 / year (max. 4 years)

Eligibility criteria

  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident
  • Living in a Canadian province other than Québec
