Canadian Water Resources Association Scholarships

Scholarships offered to graduate students whose programs of study focus on the applied, natural, or social science aspects of water resources.

Amount and duration

  • Master’s or doctorate: $1,500 to $5,000.

Eligibility criteria

  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
  • Be enrolled full-time in a graduate studies program in the fall and winter sessions of the 2019-2020 school year.

Selection criteria

An internal selection process will determine which candidates will be recommended to the CWRA selection committee.

Documents required

  • Application form (available on the CWRA web site);
  • Proof of Canadian Citizenship or permanent resident status;
  • Transcripts of grades for all university studies;
  • Two letters of recommendation that must be sent by the respondents directly to the Dean of Studies at;
  • Attestation from the program director supporting the application, and attestation of full-time enrolment for the designated sessions (do not provide - will be done by the Dean of Studies Office)

The application file (form and transcripts) must be submitted to the Dean of Studies and not sent electronically.
