There are a wealth of tools and resources available to you throughout your studies at ÉTS to help ensure your academic success: individual support, group workshops, training, guides, contact persons, etc.

Academic Success Support Programs

The Office of Student Life offers free guidance for groups or individuals. Subjects include time-management strategies, effective online study practices, managing teamwork and note-taking, among others.

Scientific writing assistance

The Office of Student Life offers a variety of tools to help develop your language and writing skills. Scientific writing assistance workshops are offered during each session. You can even take advantage of free personalized training, which includes seven individual training sessions to help improve your writing skills in French or English.

Library and scientific writing assistance service

The library offers a wide-range of activities and training for the entire student community. Consult the Calendar of activities (in French).

Students conducting research have access to the Service d’aide à la rédaction d’articles (SARA – scientific writing assistance service). SARA is a veritable scientific community of students, researchers and experts from ÉTS who assist each other in the writing and publication of scientific papers through resources, activities and the sharing of experiences.

The contact persons for your program can answer your questions concerning your academic progress, your student file, course registration, admission, etc. Consult the directory of contact persons and communicate directly with the person assigned to your program based on the nature of your question.
