COVID-19: Lump-sum payment of $100 for full-time students

When tabling of its provincial budget on March 25, 2021, the government of Québec announced a lump-sum payment of $100 per term for students enrolled in full-time studies at the collegiate and university level. The goal of this measure is to acknowledge the difficulties that were experienced in connection with the COVID-19 health crisis during the Fall 2020 and Winter 2021 sessions.

To receive the lump-sum payment, eligible students must fill out the application form, which will be available via their Mon ÉTS portal (under Forms > Demande de paiement de la compensation ministérielle) beginning on July 2, 2021. Payments will be sent beginning on September 15, 2021. 

Students who prefer to fill out the application form in printable format (PDF) must submit the document to the Registrar’s Office. The link for downloading the form will also be accessible as of July 2, 2021 via the Mon ÉTS portal.

Eligible students can receive up to $200.
