Student Services still providing remote assistance

The Student Services team is offering email and phone assistance while the ÉTS campus is closed. However, please note that we are experiencing longer than usual processing times.

Psychological support

Are you experiencing added stress or anxiety due to the current health crisis? Student Services offers free and confidential telephone support. To request an appointment with a counsellor, send an email to sae@etsmtl.ca.

In the meantime, you may find the following information helpful::

  • Coronavirus (COVID-19) : conseils psychologiques et informations au grand public - in French  (Quebec Order of Psychologists)
  • Stress, anxiety and depression associated with COVID-19 (PDF, Government of Quebec)
  • 2-1-1 guides you towards social and community resources in the Greater Montreal area, including emergency food assistance, a crisis line as well as support and referral services. Services offered are multilingual and available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. 7 days a week.
  • ASEQ Student Health Plan: Virtual consultations are available to individuals who have dental coverage through the Alliance pour la santé étudiante au Québec (ASEQ) and the Association étudiante de l’ÉTS (AÉÉTS). You can speak to a professional by phone, video or email 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Service is confidential and available in either English or French.

Financial assistance

If you have questions about your loans or scholarships, or if you are experiencing financial difficulties that could prevent you from completing your studies, write to sae@etsmtl.ca.

Students with disabilities

The Student Services team is still able to provide students with disabilities with email or telephone support. If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment, write to sae.esh@etsmtl.ca.

International students

International student advisors will respond to emails sent to etudiantsetrangers@etsmtl.ca. Even if the current situation prevents us from being able to answer all your questions, we’ll do our best to assist you.
