Zhaoheng Liu
Department of Mechanical Engineering

Professor Liu specializes in modeling and dynamic analysis of multibody mechanical systems and vibration problems in robotic machining processes. His research interests also include vehicle dynamics, finite element analysis, detection and control of chatter problem in machining, and optimization of dynamic systems.

Professor Liu joined ETS in Fall 2002. He worked for over 6 years in industrial research and development (R&D)  from 1996 to 2002 (CMLabs and MAYAHTT). He was a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Waterloo in System Design Engineering after receiving his Ph.D. degree from University of Sherbrooke in 1995.
